Jessie's 90th birthday

Jessie's 90th birthday was such a great celebration it involved TWO parties and a week of other special activities!!

On the Saturday she invited all her friends at Norfolk Place to a huge afternoon tea (and lots more than tea!!) and on the Sunday Lindsay hosted a wonderful big braai for family and more friends. On both occassions Jessie made a short speech of welcome and thanks to everyone and chatted with many guests throughout the day. Thanks to her amazing determination she simply ignored the many difficulties that had beset her during the previous year and wowed every one of us with her smiles and energy during party days and lots of additional outings during her 'birthdday week'.

Hip-hip-hooray for Jessie-Ma- Grannie!!
