Family News from New York

 We're still working on this! But here's a quick take on things as they are now, December 1997...

Carl and Colleen were married on Sept 24th, this year, and live in Mount Vernon, New York.


Zak and Amiel live with their Mom nearby and spend much time back and forth to both households and schools. Zak is in 2nd Grade at Bronxville School, and Amiel goes to Nursery School each day. He’ll be in kindergarten at Zak’s school from the beginning of 1998. Zak and Amiel's page has more about them!
Carl and Colleen commute to work daily – she to Manhattan, he to Stamford, CT. They drive a lot, get thirsty, run like heck, and like it.

They only moved to New York recently, after living in Honolulu, Hawaii, for many years. Carl says: "Our house is where we wanna be, and that makes sense, especially since the summer took off and left us with winter. Colleen’s car still has Hawaii plates…. Oh yes, and we have some orchids in the vase... otherwise, the tropix are far away. And we miss them."

Zak

Amiel

Amiel, you big guy. Amiel you sweetie. Amiel, you 4-yr old boy. He is the cuddler, the sleeper, the one who likes Wuke, and Han Sowo...D’jember? "Wook! Dad, wook, it’s Wuke!"

Colleen



Colleen works at Barneys New York, counter manager, ground floor, when you enter on 60th Street.

We call it the playpen, where she works. That’s because all the other workers play, while she works.... only kidding, she plays too.

Carl




Carl works for SE Technologies, a consulting company in Stamford. He’s called Business Development, but it’s really only sales. He sells people now – buy low, sell high! – a whole bunch of South Africans, working in an Indian Company, and kickin’ butt in New York…. Go figure.
