Both Hans and Jessie have long been deeply concerned about inequality and injustice in their own country and in the wider world. Both have devoted lots of time and energy in working towards a more "open" society, Hans particularly through his many articles in newspapers and journals, and Jessie through her work the Black Sash movement. |
