Photo 1 & 2: Jessie celebrated her 88th birthday while visiting Carl in New York. Here are a couple of pics of her birthday party at Carl's Catskills house.
Photo 3: The previous night, Jessie and Carl had christened fireplace #2 (in the bedroom, to be) and even cooked our dinner on it. Carl says the fire burned perfectly, much to Ma's delight. "Old Francis must know what he is doing - just like old Joggoms." (QW)
